The AC in our rental went out, and these guys fit us in the same day. It ended up being a simple fix, and I really appreciate their honesty and integrity. Another company could’ve easily made it into a bigger issue since we weren’t there to check. I’ll definitely recommend them to family and friends in the area. You can’t go wrong with this company. I don’t leave reviews nor do I seek services for anything as I try to do everything myself. HVAC however, is an exception. I would recommend this company (most specifically Sergio) to anyone and everyone. The art of detail, thoroughness, pride of workmanship, etc are rapidly declining traits of the common tradesman. Sergio and his team at Breezio are the exception. Please give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

Wow ! As a Marine Veteran I’m extremely impressed by this company’s CUSTOMER SERVICE, INTEGRITY AND UNSELFISHNESS. In a world where the majority of businesses are all about dollar signs, Breezio is all about building long lasting healthy customer relationships. I had called almost every HVAC repair company that Google had provided to me, I even called companies that I’ve used in the past and none were willing to go ABOVE and BEYOND like BREEZIO. My unit was not cooling and was just making a loud humming sound, without hesitation Sergio was sent to my residence and performed his duties with pure expertise even encouraging me to ask questions about the process. Obviously every circumstance is different but they were able to do all this with a price that I could afford. My family is happy and thankful for Breezio. We will continue to use them for our HVAC services and I recommend you all do the same!

Sergio and Jose did an excellent job performing maintenance on my main AC and mini split unit. They were very thorough and made sure my unit was completely cleaned. They even showed me pictures before and after so I could see how dirty my unit was. Sergio also offered to fix the drain on my AC unit because he noticed it wasn’t draining properly. Technicians seemed experienced and knowledgeable. I plan on using Breezio AC in the future to make some upgrades to my home’s heating and AC. Sergio recommended a dual zone thermostat since I have a two-story house. Overall, very satisfied.

If your looking for the best AC service in the valley, you need to use Breezio. I'm a Service Engineer by trade and Breezio has the most qualified, and customer service oriented technicians I've worked with in a very long time. Not only did they do a professional and complete annual service, but it just so happened that one of the items Sergio pointed out to me during the annual service went bad the very next day. Breezio went out of their way to make sure they came out that night just to get me going. They very well could have charged me an after hours service call, but didn't. I then booked an appointment to have the defective part changed, which was done very quickly because I was heading out of town and needed the AC for my animals. The part was purchased, installed and working within one day with a 10% discount I didn't ask for. AMAZING!! I will be using Breezio AC & Heating from now on. Thanks guys !!

I dont usually leave reviews but i felt like I had to this time. Our AC went out last week and our home warranty told us it would be a $1,200 out of pocket expense to fix our unit (i thought this was why we had a warranty?) ANYWAY, we decide to get a 2nd opinion so we call Breezio and it turns out it was literally just a few wires that got disconnected and needed to be re-connected. Breezio fixed our unit in less than 10 minutes and DIDNT EVEN CHARGE US. They said just to keep their number for next time. Who does this? They just earned a customer out of me for the rest of my life. They are truly an honest company. Thanks for all of your help guys!

I've used breezio several times now and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future. They are always on time, do a great job and most of all, they're honest. Multiple times I called them for a job I thought was going to be extremely expensive and they ended up solving the issue at a fraction of the cost! Now THAT is customer service. I have, and will continue to recommend this company to my family and friends knowing they are in good hands.

Our technicians undergo continuous training to stay current with the latest advancements in high efficiency heating technology and controls. Our technicians are experienced in working with large rooftop units and complex multi zone heating configurations for commercial properties. We offer customized maintenance contracts to ensure your business stays warm and your employees remain productive during the winter. Large systems require precise gas pressure adjustments and regular inspections of high capacity blower motors to prevent downtime. We work quickly and efficiently to minimize any disruption to your business operations during a furnace repair or install. Let us help you maintain a professional and comfortable environment for your customers and staff throughout the year.

The transition from older furnaces to modern high efficiency models involves significant changes in how the systems vent and drain. Modern condensing furnaces produce liquid condensate that must be managed properly to prevent water damage or frozen pipes in the attic. We are experts in designing proper drainage systems that ensure your high efficiency furnace operates reliably without creating moisture issues. Our team explains the benefits of AFUE ratings which measure how much fuel is actually converted into usable heat. A system with a ninety six percent rating loses only four percent of its fuel through the exhaust flue. This represents a massive improvement over older units that often wasted thirty percent or more of their fuel. We help you navigate these technical choices to find the best heating solution for your home’s unique requirements. Rely on our wisdom to guide you through the process of upgrading your home comfort system.

Blower motors in modern furnaces often feature variable speed technology that allows for more consistent heat distribution throughout your living spaces. This prevents the uncomfortable blasts of hot air followed by cold periods that occur with older single stage units. Variable speed fans also operate much more quietly and use significantly less electricity over the course of the winter season. We can help you integrate advanced smart thermostats that learn your heating preferences and adjust the system automatically for efficiency. These controls allow you to monitor your furnace from your smartphone and receive alerts if the temperature drops too low. Our technicians are skilled in the wiring and programming of these advanced controls for a seamless user experience. Enjoy a more personalized heating experience that fits your lifestyle while lowering your energy bills at the same time. We focus on providing the most modern and effective heating solutions available on the market today.

Air quality is a major consideration when running a furnace because the heating process can sometimes dry out the air in your home. We offer whole house humidification systems that integrate directly with your furnace to maintain healthy moisture levels during the winter. This prevents dry skin, itchy eyes, and damage to wooden furniture or flooring caused by excessively dry indoor air. Proper filtration is also vital to keep the internal furnace components clean and ensure the air you breathe is free of dust. We can recommend high capacity media filters that trap more pollutants without restricting the airflow your furnace needs to operate. Our team takes a holistic view of your indoor environment to ensure you are healthy and comfortable regardless of the weather. We provide expert advice on how to balance your heating needs with your air quality goals for the best results. Trust us to create a warm and healthy home environment for your family through professional HVAC service.

We are committed to earning your trust through hard work, technical excellence, and a five star service attitude. Our local reputation matters to us because we live and work in the same community as the families we serve. Choose us for your furnace needs and experience the difference that thirty years of local expertise can make for your home.

Most Common Furnace Questions

Having a reliable furnace is essential for comfort and safety when the temperatures drop in the Central Valley. We have gathered the most frequent questions from Visalia homeowners to help you understand your heating system and its maintenance needs. These answers provide direct information to help you keep your furnace running safely and efficiently all winter.

A clicking sound from your furnace often occurs when the system is trying to ignite the burners to start a heating cycle. This sound is frequently caused by a faulty spark igniter or a pilot light that refuses to stay lit during operation. If the furnace clicks several times and then shuts down it is a sign that the safety sensors are blocking ignition. This could be due to a dirty flame sensor that cannot detect the heat from the burner correctly. You should also check if your gas valve is fully open and providing enough fuel for the ignition process. Electrical issues with the control board can also cause repeated clicking as the relays attempt to engage the various components. Ignoring this sound can lead to a total loss of heat and potential damage to the ignition system over time. We can quickly diagnose the cause of the clicking and restore your furnace to quiet and reliable operation.

In some cases a clicking sound might come from the blower motor or the fan assembly inside the furnace cabinet. This can happen if a small piece of debris is stuck in the fan or if the motor bearings are starting to fail. You might also hear clicking as the metal ductwork expands and contracts when the hot air begins to flow. This thermal expansion is generally normal but excessively loud pops might indicate that your ducts are not supported properly. If the clicking is accompanied by a burning smell you should turn the system off and call for professional help immediately. Our technicians inspect the entire ignition sequence to ensure every part is working in the correct order for your safety. We replace worn out igniters and clean sensors to prevent ignition failures before they happen during a cold snap. Trust us to handle the technical details of your furnace repair with a focus on long term reliability.

Electrical relays on the main control board can also make clicking sounds as they turn different parts of the system on and off. While some clicking is normal during start up an excessive or rapid clicking indicates a failing electrical component or a loose wire. Low voltage from a faulty thermostat can also cause the system to click as it struggles to maintain a consistent signal. We use multimeters to check the voltage at various points in your furnace to find the exact electrical fault. Replacing a control board is a complex task that requires a professional to ensure all wires are reconnected in the correct spots. We focus on providing a safe and effective repair that gets your heating back online as quickly as possible. Don’t let a small clicking sound turn into a major heating headache for your family this winter. Call us today for a thorough furnace inspection and diagnostic service to keep your home warm and quiet.

You should have your furnace heat exchanger inspected at least once every year during your professional maintenance visit for maximum safety. The heat exchanger is the metal chamber where fuel is burned and it must remain perfectly sealed to keep exhaust gases out. Over time the constant heating and cooling causes the metal to expand and contract which can eventually lead to cracks. A cracked heat exchanger is a serious safety hazard because it can leak carbon monoxide into your home’s air supply. Because carbon monoxide is odorless and colorless you might not realize there is a problem until someone in the house feels sick. Our technicians use specialized tools like infrared cameras and combustion analyzers to find even the smallest cracks or holes. Regular inspections are the only way to ensure your family is protected from the dangers of a failing furnace.

Older furnaces are more prone to heat exchanger failure as the metal becomes thin and brittle from decades of constant use. If your system is more than fifteen years old you should be especially diligent about scheduling an annual heating inspection. We check for signs of rust or soot buildup which can indicate that the furnace is not burning fuel cleanly or efficiently. A dirty burner can create hotspots on the heat exchanger that lead to premature cracking and structural failure of the metal. If we find a crack we are required by safety codes to shut the system down until it can be replaced. This is why we recommend early fall inspections before you actually need the heat to keep your home comfortable. We provide honest feedback and show you the evidence if we find a safety issue with your heating equipment. Your safety is our number one priority during every furnace service call we perform in the Visalia area.

In addition to professional inspections you should always have working carbon monoxide detectors on every floor of your home for protection. These devices provide a secondary layer of safety in case a heat exchanger fails between your annual service appointments. If your detector ever goes off you should leave the house immediately and call the fire department or a professional HVAC company. We can perform a thorough safety sweep of your system to find the source of the leak and provide a permanent solution. Maintaining your furnace properly reduces the risk of heat exchanger failure and extends the overall life of your equipment. We take the time to explain the condition of your furnace in plain language so you can make informed safety decisions. Trust Breezio AC & Heating to provide the most thorough and reliable furnace inspections in the Central Valley region. Let us help you keep your home warm and your family safe with our expert heating services.

A furnace blowing cold air is a common frustration that can be caused by several different issues within the heating system. First you should check your thermostat to ensure it is set to the heat position and that the fan is on auto. If the fan is set to the on position it will run constantly even when the furnace is not actually heating. This means you will feel room temperature air blowing from your vents between the actual heating cycles of the unit. If the settings are correct but the air is still cold your furnace might have experienced an ignition failure. The system will often blow air for a few minutes to clear out any unburned gas before shutting down for safety. This could be caused by a dirty flame sensor or a faulty igniter that needs to be replaced by a technician.

Another common cause for cold air is a tripped limit switch which turns off the burners if the furnace gets too hot. This usually happens because of restricted airflow caused by an extremely dirty air filter or blocked return air vents. When the furnace cannot move enough air to cool itself down the safety switch cuts the fuel to prevent a fire. Once the system cools off it might try to restart but it will quickly overheat again if the airflow issue is not fixed. You should check your filter immediately and replace it if it looks dark or clogged with household dust. If the problem persists you might have a more serious issue with your blower motor or the ductwork in your attic. We can identify the specific safety switch that is tripping and solve the underlying airflow problem for you. Our goal is to restore your warm air quickly so your family can stay comfortable during the winter months.

If you have a gas furnace you should also verify that your gas supply has not been interrupted or turned off accidentally. A pilot light that has gone out can also prevent a furnace from producing heat while the fan continues to blow air. Modern furnaces use electronic ignition rather than a standing pilot light which is much more reliable but still susceptible to failure. We use diagnostic codes provided by the furnace control board to find the exact reason the burners are not engaging. Our technicians are trained to handle gas and electrical repairs safely and efficiently to get your heat back on. We carry the most common replacement parts on our trucks to minimize the time your home is without heat. Rely on our experienced team to find the solution and provide a fast and professional furnace repair service. We are dedicated to providing five star heating support to every resident in the Visalia community.

Gas furnaces are the most popular heating choice for Visalia homeowners because they provide powerful heat very quickly during cold spells. They burn natural gas or propane to create a flame that heats up the metal heat exchanger inside the unit. This type of heating is generally very cost effective because natural gas prices are often lower than electricity for heating purposes. Gas units require a venting system to carry combustion exhaust safely out through the roof or a side wall of your home. They also need a gas line connection which must be installed and maintained by a licensed professional to prevent leaks. Modern gas furnaces are highly efficient and can achieve AFUE ratings of up to ninety eight percent for maximum savings. We can help you determine if your home is equipped for a gas furnace installation or a conversion project.

Electric furnaces use large heating elements similar to those found in a toaster to create warmth for your home’s air. They do not require any gas lines or venting systems because they do not burn fuel or produce exhaust gases. This makes them a very safe option that is easy to install in homes that do not have access to natural gas. However electric furnaces can be more expensive to operate because electricity is often a more costly energy source for heating. They are also highly durable because they have fewer moving parts and no combustion process to wear out the metal. Electric units are one hundred percent efficient because all the energy they consume is converted directly into heat for your rooms. We often recommend electric furnaces for smaller homes or areas where gas infrastructure is not available or practical. Our team can provide a cost comparison to help you choose the best heating source for your specific budget.

The choice between gas and electric often depends on your existing home infrastructure and your long term energy goals for your property. Gas furnaces provide a hotter air temperature at the vent which many people find more comfortable during the peak of winter. Electric units provide a very clean and simple heating solution with minimal maintenance requirements compared to combustion based systems. We can evaluate your current electrical panel to ensure it can handle the high power demand of a large electric furnace. If you are interested in a more eco friendly option we can also discuss heat pump technology as an alternative. Our technicians are experts in both gas and electric heating systems and can provide professional installation for either type. We focus on delivering reliable and efficient warmth to your Visalia home regardless of the fuel source you choose. Trust us to provide the best heating advice and service based on our thirty plus years of experience.

A well maintained furnace in the Visalia area typically lasts between fifteen and twenty years before it needs to be replaced. The actual lifespan of your heating equipment depends heavily on how often it is used and how well it is maintained. Because our winters are relatively mild compared to other regions your furnace might experience less wear than units in colder climates. However neglecting annual maintenance and filter changes can significantly shorten the life of even the highest quality heating system. Over time the constant heat stress on the heat exchanger and the electrical components will eventually lead to failure. We recommend starting to plan for a replacement once your furnace passes the fifteen year mark to avoid a breakdown. Investing in a new system before your old one fails completely allows you to choose the best model without pressure.

If you notice that your furnace requires frequent repairs it is a strong sign that the system is reaching the end of its life. Small parts failing one after another is a common pattern as the equipment degrades and becomes less reliable over time. You should also consider the rising cost of energy when deciding whether to keep an older and less efficient furnace. A modern high efficiency unit can pay for itself through lower utility bills over the remaining years you live in your home. We provide professional assessments to help you understand the remaining life expectancy of your current heating equipment during service calls. Our goal is to provide honest recommendations that save you money and ensure your home stays warm every winter. We never push for a replacement if a simple and safe repair can extend your unit’s life effectively. Trust our local team to give you the straight facts about your furnace’s condition and long term performance.

Environmental factors like dust and moisture in your attic can also impact the longevity of your home’s furnace system. Keeping your ductwork sealed and your attic well ventilated helps protect the unit from corrosion and excessive dirt buildup. We check for these external issues during our maintenance visits and provide solutions to help your furnace last as long as possible. If you are the second or third owner of a home you should check the manufacture date on the unit’s nameplate. This will give you a clear idea of how old the system is and what kind of efficiency it provides. We can help you interpret these labels and provide a detailed history of the common issues for that specific model. Maintaining a five star service record means we focus on the long term health of your entire HVAC system. Rely on Breezio AC & Heating to help you maximize the life and performance of your Visalia heating system.

If you smell a strong odor of rotten eggs near your furnace you should treat it as a serious emergency immediately. Natural gas is odorless but utility companies add a chemical called mercaptan to make leaks easy for homeowners to detect. You should not turn any lights on or off or use any electronic devices as these can create a spark. Leave the building immediately and make sure everyone in your family is a safe distance away from the property. Once you are outside call your local gas company or the fire department to report the suspected gas leak. Do not attempt to find the leak yourself or turn off the gas valve if it requires entering the building. Safety must always come first when dealing with potentially explosive natural gas in a residential or commercial setting.

Once the gas company has cleared the area and turned off the supply you should call a licensed HVAC professional. We specialize in finding and repairing gas leaks in the pipes and valves leading to your home’s furnace system. Our technicians use electronic leak detectors to find even the smallest traces of gas that might be escaping from a joint. We will replace the faulty sections of pipe or the gas valve to ensure your system is perfectly sealed. We also perform a thorough safety inspection of the furnace itself to ensure no other issues contributed to the leak. Never attempt to restart your furnace until a professional has verified that the gas system is completely safe and secure. We are available twenty four hours a day to handle these urgent safety concerns for our Visalia clients. Trust our experienced team to handle your gas furnace repairs with the highest level of caution and technical skill.

Small or faint smells of gas can sometimes occur right when a furnace starts up but they should dissipate very quickly. If the smell persists or gets stronger during the heating cycle it is a sign of a significant problem with the burners. This could be due to delayed ignition which allows a small amount of gas to build up before it finally catches fire. This can create a small explosion or a boom sound that can damage the heat exchanger over time. We can adjust your gas pressure and clean your burners to ensure a smooth and safe ignition sequence every time. Regular maintenance is the best way to prevent these scary situations from happening in your home during the winter. We take gas safety very seriously and follow all national and local codes for gas line repair and installation. Count on Breezio AC & Heating to keep your family safe and your gas furnace operating with total integrity.

Your furnace plays a significant role in your home’s air quality because it is responsible for circulating air through your filters. When the furnace is running it pulls air from your rooms and pushes it through the filtration system to remove dust. This constant circulation helps keep the air in your home fresh and prevents the buildup of stale odors and pollutants. We can install high efficiency air cleaners that work in conjunction with your furnace to trap even smaller particles. These systems are much more effective than standard one inch filters at removing pollen, pet dander, and smoke. Some advanced furnace filters can even trap viruses and bacteria to help keep your family healthy during flu season. We can help you select the right filtration level that provides clean air without straining your blower motor. Your furnace is a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy indoor environment when it is equipped correctly.

In addition to filtration we can also add UV germicidal lights inside your furnace cabinet to kill mold and bacteria. These lights shine on the internal components where moisture can sometimes collect and prevent organic growth from starting. This ensures that the air passing through your furnace is sanitized before it ever reaches your living spaces and bedrooms. We also offer whole house humidifiers that attach to your furnace to add moisture to the dry winter air. Maintaining the correct humidity level is essential for respiratory health and prevents the spread of some airborne illnesses. Our team takes a comprehensive approach to indoor air quality by evaluating your entire HVAC system for potential improvements. We want your home to be a place where you can breathe easily and feel comfortable all year long. Trust our experts to provide the best advice on integrating air quality solutions into your Visalia furnace system.

Regular furnace cleaning and maintenance are also vital for keeping your indoor air quality at its best during the winter. A dirty furnace can actually become a source of dust and odors if it is not cleaned on a regular basis. Dust that collects on the burners can create a singed smell when the furnace first turns on in the fall. We thoroughly clean the blower compartment and the burner assembly to ensure no debris is being blown into your home. Our technicians also check your ductwork for leaks that might be pulling in dusty air from your attic or crawlspace. Sealing these leaks ensures that all the air circulating through your furnace is coming from your clean living areas. We are committed to helping Visalia residents achieve the best possible indoor air quality through professional heating services. Let us show you how a well maintained furnace can improve the health and comfort of your entire household.

The AFUE rating stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency and it measures how efficiently your furnace converts fuel into heat. This rating is expressed as a percentage that tells you how much of the energy you pay for actually warms your home. For example a furnace with an eighty percent AFUE rating converts eighty percent of the gas into heat for your rooms. The remaining twenty percent of the energy is lost through the exhaust flue as waste gas and heat. Modern high efficiency furnaces can achieve ratings as high as ninety eight percent which means almost no energy is wasted. Choosing a furnace with a higher AFUE rating can lead to significant savings on your monthly heating bills over time. We help you understand these ratings in plain language so you can make the best choice for your budget. The initial cost of a high efficiency unit is often offset by the long term energy savings it provides.

In the state of California there are minimum AFUE requirements for new furnace installations to promote energy conservation and lower emissions. We stay updated on these changing regulations to ensure that every system we install is fully compliant with state laws. High efficiency furnaces often use a secondary heat exchanger to squeeze even more warmth out of the combustion exhaust. This process causes the exhaust gases to cool down and condense into liquid which requires a special drainage system. Our technicians are experts in installing these complex condensing furnaces and ensuring they drain safely and correctly every time. We can provide a cost analysis to show you how much you can save by upgrading from an old system. Our goal is to help you find the perfect balance of upfront cost and long term efficiency for your Visalia home. Trust our experienced team to provide honest and accurate information about furnace efficiency and performance.

While a high AFUE rating is important it is only one factor in determining your home’s overall heating costs and comfort. Your home’s insulation, windows, and ductwork also play a major role in how much energy you actually use each winter. A high efficiency furnace in a poorly insulated home will still have to work very hard to keep you warm. We take a holistic view of your property to ensure you get the most out of your investment in a new furnace. Our team can recommend other energy saving improvements that work alongside your new heating system for maximum results. We are dedicated to providing the most effective and efficient HVAC solutions to our clients in the Central Valley.
